The Chelsea Retirement Community (805 W. Middle St., 734-433-1000; chelsearetirementcommunity.com) offers independent living for age 62 & over at the 101-unit Dancey House, 23-unit Garden Apartments, and 4 cottage-style homes, all of which include dining allowance, weekly housekeeping, maintenance, and access to community amenities. The 85-bed Kresge Rehabilitation & Nursing Center (734-433-1000) offers 24-hour skilled care for age 60 & over as well as physical, occupational, and speech therapy. The Pines (325 Wilkinson, 734-433-9130; TDD: 800-649-3777; umrc.com/umrc/pines) has 98 units for age 55 & over with round-the-clock staffing and various activity rooms and a cafe. Silver Maples of Chelsea (100 Silver Maples, 734-475-4111, silvermaples.org) has 77 independent-living apartments, 17 villas, and 57 assisted-living apartments for age 62 & over. Respite and adult day services available.Towsley Village (805 W. Middle, 734-433-1000, towsleyvillage.com) has 102 rooms offering assisted living for residents age 60 & over at any stage of Alzheimer's disease or memory loss.
