Dexter Art Gardens. June 1, 2022-May 15, 2023. Annual exhibition of four temporary artworks selected by the Dexter Arts, Culture & Heritage Committee and the City of Dexter. The chosen pieces are installed on concrete pads in highly trafficked locations in Dexter.

Summer Concert Series. Every Fri., Jun. 17-Aug. 12, 2022, 6:30-10:30 p.m. (734) 506-1560. Live music and entertainment downtown at Monument Park.

Dexter Daze. Aug. 12 & 13, 2022. Entertainment, raffles, social tent, parade, arts and crafts, and plenty of food. Celebrating fifty years. dexterdaze.org

Gordon Hall Days. Sept. 9-11, 2022. Tours of historic Gordon Hall, exhibits, demonstrations, food, music, Tea With Flair. dexterhistory.org

Paint Dexter Plein Air Festival. Aug. 15-20, 2022. Local and visiting artists work outdoors for four days in a wide variety of mediums. The festival culminates with a two-day exhibit and art sale of all competition artwork in the Tent Gallery in Monument Park. paintdexter.org

Dexter After Dark. Sept. 30, Oct. 28, Dec. 9, 2022. An evening of shopping and dining specials in downtown Dexter.

Webster Fall Festival. Sept. 23, 2023. Cosponsored by the Webster Township Historical Society and the Webster United Church of Christ. Includes pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs and homemade soups, blacksmithing, wool spinning, live auction (9:30 a.m.), antique cars and tractors, activities for kids, a petting zoo, craft show, hayrides, folk music, and more. Apple Daze. Oct. 1, 2022, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (734) 426-7770. Centered in Monument Park, this festival, sponsored by the Dexter Lions Club, includes an apple pie-eating contest, pumpkin bowling, a pinewood derby track, bounce houses, a scarecrow decorating contest, hayrides to the Dexter Cider Mill, a classic car show, craft booths, kids' games, live entertainment, cider and candy apples for sale, and more.

Christmas at the Mansion-A Family Tradition at Gordon Hall. Dec. 2 & 3, 2022. Historic Gordon Hall is decorated for the holidays. Featuring the Christmas Village Collection, a magical display of Department 56 villages. After a visit with Santa, make a gingerbread house. Christmas Tea Sun. dexterhistory.org.

Light Up Dexter. Dec. 16, 2022-Jan 1, 2023. Dozens of holiday trees, decorated by local businesses, light up Monument Park

Home For The Holidays. 2022 dates TBA. Breakfast with Santa, holiday crafts, a bazaar sale, and tree lighting. Refreshments in shops and carolers moving throughout downtown.

Dexter Fourth Annual Ice Fest. Jan. 21, 2023. (734) 506-1560. More than 70 ice sculptures, live ice carving demos, hot chocolate and s'mores, a kids zone with games and entertainment. Depending on weather, sculptures remain in place for three weeks. Monument Park.
