Human service nonprofit serving Chelsea and Dexter areas with an on-site food pantries at Chelsea and Dexter locations. Free clothing room and free durable medical equipment available at Chelsea location. Qualified clients can access social workers to help address financial concerns, utility shut-off prevention, eviction prevention, school backpacks, and holiday food and gifts. Staff available by appointment to help with MI Bridges and employment counseling. A free community-driven mindfulness meditation initiative, open to anyone. Sessions have no religious affiliation and are appropriate for beginners as well as experienced meditators.
