There is a commuter parking lot on the east side of M-52 just north of I-94. Municipal parking lots downtown provide free 3-hour customer parking, with longer spots available for downtown workers and shop owners.
A2-Chelsea Express Leaves the Arctic Coliseum at 6:08 and 7:15 a.m. In the afternoon, the bus leaves Washington & Fletcher in Ann Arbor at 3:37, 5:15, and 7:40 p.m. to return to Chelsea. Door-to-door service operates Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Fare: 1-way regular $4; seniors age 65 & over $2, disabled passengers $2. Same day service sometimes available; advanced reservations recommended. Reservation line open Mon.-Fri. 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Operates the Community Connector, a Chelsea-Dexter-Ann Arbor bus that leaves the Park St. parking lot Mon.-Fri. (except holidays) at 6, 8, & 10 a.m., noon, and 3 & 5 p.m. The buses arrive at the AATA route 9 shelter at Jackson and Wagner an hour later. Fare: Chelsea-Dexter $2; Chelsea-Ann Arbor $3; seniors age 65 & over, disabled passengers, and AATA Fare Deal card holders half price. U-M students, faculty, and staff pay $1.50 for Chelsea-Ann Arbor (seniors age 65 & over ride free). Personal-care attendants and children 4 & under with parents ride free. Transfer Bus available (50- -$1) from passengers' homes to connector stops. Free Chelsea Community Ride provides transportation around downtown Chelsea for 3 hours per day.
