Description: Chelsea Community Hospital, a 113-bed acute care facility on a 119-acre wooded site, offers a wide range of surgical and clinical services. An ongoing expansion and renovation will increase services and provide private rooms for all patients. As a Catholic affiliate, St. Joseph Mercy Health System prohibits its staff from dispensing or prescribing contraceptives and from performing vasectomies, female sterilizations, and elective abortions.
