Residents have priority access to Brecon's assisted living section, where services include up to 3 meals a day, housekeeping, and access to 24-hour personal care assistance. Brecon Village's parent, the Evangelical Home-Saline (440 Russell, 734-429-9401, www.evangelicalhomes.org) is a 215-bed skilled and basic nursing care facility offering short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, including memory care, Alzheimer's care, and hospice care. The Evangelical Home's Redies Center for Rehabilitation & Healthy Living, opening in 2012, is a 54-bed facility with physical, occupational, speech, and aquatic therapy programs; residents have access to the Evangelical Home facilities and a restaurant on site. Mill Pond Manor (460 W. Russell, 734-429-3838, www.evangelicalhomes.org) has 48 subsidized apartments for people age 62 & over. Residents pay 30 percent of adjusted annual income and have access to a community room, coin laundry, and emergency call system.
